Co-Founder & Director of Wellness
With over 10 years in Human Services, trained in developmental psychology (birth through adulthood), Clinical Social Work & Mental Health, Evidence-Based practices (CBT, Mindfulness, DBT), and Holistic wellbeing, AJ offers wellness services that honor the experiences of members from marginalized communities and their allies.
AJ agrees with the concept of prioritizing one’s mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health as a way to positively improve quality of life. The way they prioritize this balance for themselves is through their experiences as a personal trainer, therapist, bodybuilder, and aerial artist.
They also prioritize engaging their senses at sunrise with a brisk hike & some Thai tea, and feed their spirituality when they commune in nature at a music festival or aerial fitness class.
Seeing the benefits a holistic approach to wellness has created in their clients’ lives and their own, encourages AJ to share these practices with YOU!
Yovannys Kenney

Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer
Yovannys is a Co-founder at Herb N’ Oasis, collaborates with AJ in the Oasis Center, and heads the Food & Beverage Division.
Certified as a Life Coach Yovannys specializes in Health & Wellness, Mindfulness and Stress Management, Recovery from addiction, and intimate relationship support by providing effective tactics and approaches to help individuals and couples deal with stressful situations.
As a native of Boston, MA, Yovannys works in his neighborhood as an advocate for marginalized communities impacted by HIV and substance use disorder.
When he isn’t serving the public you can find him perfecting a recipe, traveling to new places, or at home spending quality time with loved ones.
Dishon Laing

Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer
Dishon is a Co-Founder at Herb N' Oasis and head of Community Affairs & Engagement. His team is responsible for curating events, managing membership, and generating business relationships.
Being the eldest of 6 siblings, leadership comes naturally to Dishon. His background in Public Health and prevention efforts for marginalized communities began in Boston, MA over 10 years ago. This inspired him to translate those skills into efforts that intersect social justice and entertainment for the HNO community.
Socially, he enjoys nothing more than being in nature with close friends and appreciating the present moment. As an avid gamer (video, board, card) and music enthusiast; Dishon incorporates many of his interests at HNO which makes his role the perfect fit.
